ben and martha

Ben and Martha are all of ten weeks old, though Ben has a minute on his sister. They’re already quite distinct  little characters - Ben being very much the more placid one. I arrived just before the babies woke for their mid-morning feed, and had a cup of tea and a chat with Julie and Carl - both hands-on parents and a great team - while we checked out light and location options.

I visited Emma and Olivia (and Emma’s Mum Eileen)  today, and we had a lovely all-girls afternoon. Olivia is almost 4 weeks old and, in her Mum’s words, just “...eats, sleeps and fidgets...”   But how beautifully she does all of those things!

fascinating feet

Here is baby Joseph, entranced by his feet. Well, of course he is - they're pretty new to him... as is just about everything, come to think of it! He and his Mum visited the (nicely cosy and warm) studio for a couple of hours of group admiration of all his fascinating, wonderful and gorgeous features. (Loved that MANC t'shirt.) Fun for us all!

Those eyes!

This lad is really something! Not only one of the most good-natured boys ever, but one of the most enchanting! He can sit up now, and is a VERY good arm-waver...world-class! He has a very appealing 'signature' move - looks like he's working the controls on motorbike handlebars. Cool...

the youngest guest

A baby is such a precious wee thing at any time; this tiny baby came rather worryingly earlier than planned into the world...but she's fine now, and SO loved. Gracie won't remember being the youngest guest at her Aunt Laura's wedding, but everyone else who was there will, I expect. And of course, Aunt Laura will have quite a few photographs to show her niece the story of the day...
