man of the match
My nephews in Guernsey are both pretty good at sports: really good, actually! It's been great watching them get into new sports and develop new skills over the years I've been zipping over to visit the family. Love the island, love them. I was over a week ago, and so lucky with excellent weather - we were able to walk and cycle around including to the fabled bluebell woods on the cliffs west of St Peter Port (of which, more later).

who you lookin' at?

I'm working on a slightly different commission at the moment, for a client with a UK-wide organisation, who wants to give every regional office a camera. I've been asked to help produce a guide to go with it, setting out some tips on how to take photographs of people and places with impact and interest for internal and external publication. So over the next few weeks I'm having to do some thinking and writing about photography, which is an interesting change!
