spring photowalk
I'm organising a photowalk in Manchester's offbeat and interesting Northern Quarter for Sunday 22 April, starting at 1pm, and ending at 4/4.30pm after a drink and chat.
It will be a relaxed, sociable event, for photographers of all levels of ability to walk, talk and shoot together. While I'm organising it with The Guild of Photographers, everyone is welcome - and it's free. I'll sort out the route nearer the time, as well as starting and finishing places, and would welcome any ideas/thoughts.
The area has lots of urban grit and personality, and is great for urban streetscapes, not least graffiti and intriguing details - and there are usually lots of quirky characters around. "A centre of alternative and bohemian culture" according to Wikipedia. "The heartbeat of the city's music and independent fashion scene…"
Just drop me an email if you'd like to come along or have any queries.
Here are some images from a quick zip round just a few streets this week.
