Photography is such a pleasure; for some years it’s been a rewarding job combining people and travel, offering great experiences with a lot of fun and satisfaction.
My priorities have shifted in the last couple of years, to make space for study as an enthusiastic ‘mature’ Open University student. What started as ‘probably’ an Art History degree is now Philosophy and Classical Studies - keeping that brain cell well-exercised. My cameras still get used for the occasional job, but they’re busier now for personal travelling, not least to athletic events worldwide when my two talented nephews are competing - to Gold Coast in Australia for the Commonwealth Games and to Finland for the World u20 Championships last year, for example.
I remain a Panel Member, Mentor and Judge for the Guild of Photographers - a wonderful, supportive community for photographers of all abilities.
