People coming together is what makes things happen, sharing aspiration and achievements, making memories along the way.
In my 30+ years in property development, and then as a professional photographer, getting things done has always depended on people and partnerships, giving me great experiences and a lot of satisfaction.
Travel has always inspired me. It’s added more memories… from working in Kazakhstan and Kuwait, to walking the Great Wall of China. I remember tiger tracking at dawn in India, and ending a month-long USA road trip watching white (yes!) sand dunes turn pink at sunset. Exciting too, to lead groups of photographers exploring the wildly photogenic landscapes of Iceland and the Outer Hebrides for the Guild of Photographers. I remain part of their wonderful, supportive community, as a Panel Member and Judge.
Now a student again, people are still my focus. This time it’s an Arts and Humanities degree; first time round (in 1970) it was Politics and Public Administration.
